Overview
Dobell House has been created in memory of Sir William Dobell. Sir William Dobell’s home and studio have been professionally managed by the Sir William Dobell Memorial Committee since 1971. The home is preserved to a high standard in accordance with the National Standards for Museums. Our plan for this new website was to work with the foundation to create an engaging and visual connection between the community of Newcastle & Lake Macquarie and Sir William Dobell’s rich history.
